Summary

The Range Rover GT is an all-electric luxury coupé-SUV that will soon become the new range-topper of the Range Rover range when the model arrives in UK showrooms in the first half of 2027.

Previewed back in July 2026, the GT marks a major stylistic and structural shift, moving away from the traditional, upright boxy SUV form toward a lower, sleeker “crossover coupe” or fastback design. It has the lowest center of gravity and the highest aerodynamic efficiency of any Range Rover built to date.

The GT is yet to enter its production phase scheduled to begin at JLR’s UK Halewood plant in the new year. As the car is currently still in the latter stages of testing, Land Rover is yet to announce the model’s technical specs, including powertrain size, battery range, acceleration and top speed, as well as pricing. We do know however that the GT is built on 800V underpinnings, providing a 10% to 80% battery top up in around 25 minutes using a 350kW rapid DC charger.

There are currently no UK-based reviews of the Range Rover GT to display on this page yet. Once we have a collection of review scores to present, and we have collected running cost data for the model, we will give the GT an Expert Rating score. Check back soon!
