Honda To Display Swappable Battery Tech for ZeroEmissions Airport Operations at ACINA 2026 Annual Co

Honda will display its zero-emissions Honda Mobile Power Pack e: (MPP) swappable battery technology at the Airports Council International North America (ACI-NA) 2026 Annual Conference and Exhibition from Sept. 14-17 in Philadelphia, PA. New for the U.S. market, Honda recently began offering the MPP for B2B commercial product integrations and sees tremendous potential for the technology to support zero-emissions airport operations.

In 2021, Airports Council International (ACI) World and the five ACI regions, in collaboration with members, created a long-term carbon goal for their member airports, aiming for each facility to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Similarly, Honda has set a global company goal of net zero environmental impact, including carbon neutrality for all products and corporate activities by 2050.

As many global organizations aim to reduce their environmental impact, electric mobility products are becoming widespread. Anticipating such a trend, Honda created the MPP, an easy-to-use swappable battery pack, to address the key issues facing electric mobility products, namely long charging times, inadequate range and high battery cost.
