Quotes

Alex Palou (#10 Chip Ganassi Racing Honda) qualified first: ‘Five poles in a row! That’s so cool. Thank you to Honda for all the power. My car, the #10 car, was impressive in qualifying today—once again. Now, we are going to focus on the race run. We’ll see how crazy it’s going to be with different strategies, but I’m looking forward to it!’

Marcus Armstrong (#66 Meyer Shank Racing Honda) qualified third: ‘It’s a great result today for us and the whole MSR team to lock out the second row. Our Honda engine has been giving us good power all weekend, and that’s really shown. But, tomorrow we have our work cut out for us. It’s a long race, you can’t win it in the first corner, and we’re going to have to do everything right tomorrow if we want to beat Alex.’
