Allnew Audi Nuvolari halo performance model to make its US debut at Monterey Car Week

Following its global debut at the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this year, Audi of America today announced that the Audi Nuvolari will make its U.S. debut on the Monterey Peninsula during Monterey Car Week. Its arrival on American shores for the first time gives U.S. clients, collectors, members of the press, and enthusiasts their first opportunity for an in-person look at the most powerful and fastest production vehicle in Audi history; all set against the picturesque backdrop of California’s Central Coast. Limited to 499 units globally and powered by Audi’s first high-performance plug-in hybrid supercar powertrain, the Nuvolari represents a new performance halo for the four rings. With 987 horsepower (1,001 PS), a top speed of more than 217 mph (350 km/h), active aerodynamics, quattro predictive ride and a new Audi Space Frame with full carbon fiber body, the Nuvolari embodies ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ at its most visceral. It also serves as a statement of Audi’s future direction in performance, technical innovation, and a new design philosophy.

Friday – The Quail by The Peninsula, A Motorsports Gathering
On Friday, Aug. 14, at The Quail by The Peninsula, A Motorsports Gathering, Audi will present Nuvolari alongside some of the rarest high-performance cars. As one of Monterey Car Week’s most exclusive events – and one focused on both performance and motorsports – The Quail offers a fitting backdrop for the Nuvolari’s first public appearance in North America. The brand’s presence at the event and the debut of Nuvolari underscore Audi’s technical progress, vision for the next-generation of electrified supercar performance, and the brand’s technology transfer from its first-ever Formula One entry; all culminating in limited-production collector car relevance.

The Audi pavilion at The Quail will offer guests curated access to the people behind the Nuvolari. Product specialists, designers, and technical experts will be in attendance to discuss the car’s design, its hybrid performance system, as well as the advanced materials and the bespoke craftsmanship, which the new model represents.

Sunday – Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
The Nuvolari will be publicly displayed Sunday, Aug. 16, on the prestigious Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance giving the broadest access to see the vehicle in person and speak with Audi product representatives.

Now celebrating its 75th year, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is widely regarded as one of the world’s premier celebrations of the automobile and serves as the culminating event of Monterey Car Week, making it a fitting conclusion to the Nuvolari’s first appearances in America.

Vorsprung durch Technik at its most visceral
Developed alongside Audi’s first-ever entry into F1, the Nuvolari reflects the brand’s broader motorsport mindset, with emphasis on electrified performance, energy management, lightweight construction, and aerodynamic efficiency. Insights from the team have influenced key elements of the vehicle, including its high-performance hybrid powertrain, active aerodynamics, energy management, lightweight carbon-fiber construction, and advanced braking systems.
