Last GR Supra MkV Final Edition Heads to Charity Auction for ROWW
The MkV GR Supra’s story began at Barrett-Jackson and it will end there too. ToyotaNorth America announced this week that it has donated the absolute last fifth-generation Supra ever produced to Reach Out WorldWide — the disaster-relief organization Paul Walker founded in 2010 — and the car will cross the block at Barrett-Jackson’s 2027 Scottsdale Auction, running January 23–31 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Every dollar of the hammer price goes directly to ROWW, no fees skimmed off the top.
This isn’t just another charity car. The Supra heading to Arizona is a one-of-one 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition in exclusive Phantom Gray paint, stamped with a commemorative VIN ending in 99999, and signed on the engine cover by Toyota chairman Akio “Morizo” Toyoda. It is, by every measure, the last A90 Supra that will ever leave a production line — Magna Steyr’s Graz facility wrapped up MkV assembly in March 2026 after seven years of production.
A One-Of-One Supra Built For This Moment
The spec sheet on this car is designed to leave no doubt about what it is. Phantom Gray is a matte finish not offered on any other 2026 Supra, standard or Final Edition. The VIN ending in 99999 was adjusted specifically to mark its status — it doesn’t reflect a sequential production number, it announces one. Toyoda’s signature, applied under his Morizo racing alias, completes the provenance.
Beyond the commemorative touches, the car is a fully loaded Final Edition. That means the turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six producing 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque, paired with the six-speed manual transmission — the purist’s choice, and the right one for the send-off. The GT4-inspired aero package adds a carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler, front wheel arch flaps, and high front spats. Larger Brembo brakes, stiffer bushings, a revised camber angle, retuned dampers, and 19-inch matte black wheels round out the chassis upgrades. The GT4 Style Pack layers on contrasting red mirror caps and GR side decals. Inside, black leather and Alcantara with red contrast stitching and embroidered GR headrests. The winning bidder also gets a one-year NASA membership and a complimentary High Performance Driving Event entry — an invitation to actually use the thing.
The Full-Circle Story Barrett-Jackson Is Ready To Tell
In January 2019, Barrett-Jackson sold the very first global-production MkV Supra — VIN 20201, finished in matte gray with red mirror caps — for $2.1 million at its Scottsdale auction, with proceeds split between the American Heart Association and the Bob Woodruff Foundation. The last one is Phantom Gray with red mirror caps. Toyota hasn’t called the visual callback deliberate, but the specification sheets line up closely enough to speak for themselves.
Barrett-Jackson chairman and CEO Craig Jackson put it plainly: the auction house is “fully prepared to rally the collector car community this January to challenge that previous record.” No presale estimate has been announced, and the car carries no reserve. Whatever the hammer lands on, ROWW gets all of it.
Enthusiasts who want an early look don’t have to wait until January. The car will be on display at Barrett-Jackson’s 2026 Las Vegas Auction, September 10–12, in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Why Paul Walker’s Charity and the Supra Make Sense Together
The connection between this car and this cause runs deeper than a corporate donation. The Supra’s Fast & Furious legacy is inseparable from Walker’s own place in car culture — the orange 1994 A80 Supra he drove in the original film sold at Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction in June 2021 for $550,000, a record for the nameplate at auction that still stands. Pairing the final MkV with ROWW closes a loop that fans of both the franchise and the man will feel immediately.
Reach Out WorldWide was born from a specific moment. After the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Walker organized a relief team himself and traveled to the disaster zone. What he saw wasn’t a shortage of donations — it was a shortage of trained people. He came home and built ROWW around that gap, sending medics, firefighters, and construction crews directly into disaster areas. Walker died in 2013; his brother Cody now runs the organization as CEO. “We are so grateful to Toyota for donating the final MkV GR Supra to ROWW,” Cody Walker said, “which will hopefully break the previous MkV sales record and make a massive difference for communities facing disaster.”
The Walker family’s relationship with Barrett-Jackson stretches back years — a Civic Type R and two custom Ford Mustangs were sold through the auction house to benefit ROWW in 2019 and 2021, and Paul Walker’s personal collection crossed the same block in 2020. This lot is the biggest chapter in that ongoing partnership.
The MkV Supra’s production run — 1,300 Final Edition units for North America, seven years of assembly in Graz — ends with VIN 99999 going to a cause that reflects exactly what Walker stood for. For gearheads who grew up watching that orange A80 light up a quarter mile, January in Scottsdale is going to hit differently.
