Ever since Harley-Davidson kickstarted its Custom Vehicle Operations (aka CVO), the lineup has been the end goal for fans of the Motor Company. Rightly so, too, as the CVO range usually births some of the most feature-rich, powerful, and advanced machines by Harley. We’ve even seen a near-track-spec bagger under this initiative.

Understandably, all of those high-end components equate to a high starting price, and inflation doesn’t help, either. So you need serious money to take a CVO bike home, even if you pick the most affordable option. Speaking of which, here’s us telling you all about the cheapest CVO on sale today.

The Harley-Davidson CVO Touring Range Is Larger Than Ever In 2026

Unless you’re living under a rock, you’d know that 2026 has brought a proper overhaul to Harley-Davidson’s touring lineup. We have new full dressers and baggers, spread across the two-wheeler and trike range. Most of these bikes have also received CVO treatment for this model year, meaning a larger-than-ever lineup of these premium Harleys.

There are a total of five CVO bikes. Out of these, three are baggers, one is a full-dresser tourer, and there’s one full-dresser trike. In comparison, 2025 had three CVO baggers and one CVO adventure bike (the first of its kind).

But The Cost Of Admission Has Gone Up Over Last Year

Harley’s first CVO ADV debuted in 2024, and that had lowered the price of entry in the CVO lineup. The CVO Pan America started at $29,249, making it one of the most affordable new CVO bikes in recent times. That’s $6,000 cheaper than Harley’s CVO Street Glide from a decade ago.

However, the CVO ADV is no longer part of the Harley lineup, and it’s been replaced by the Pan America Limited in 2026. That means if you want a CVO today, you have no option but to pick one of the new heavyweight Grand American Touring bikes. Although most of you will agree they are the OG CVOs, even the cheapest of them cost well over $40,000.

The Entry Ticket To The 2026 CVO Lineup Is The $44,999 CVO Road Glide ST

With the CVO Pan Am’s departure, the cheapest CVO bike in 2026 is the CVO Road Glide ST. It starts at $44,999 for the Inferno Gray and Electric Coast colorway, while the King Of The Baggers-inspired Inferno Heat costs $4,500 extra. You should also know that the MSRP has remained the same as the 2025 model, despite the introduction of new, punchier colorways. Oh, and in case you don’t like the Road Glide, Harley sells a CVO Street Glide ST for the same money.

Post the ST duo, the next CVOs are all way pricier. The CVO Street Glide starts at $49,999, while the CVO Street Glide Limited is priced at $51,999. At the top of the food chain is the CVO Street Glide 3 Limited with a starting price of $54,999. All of these are base prices that rise by a few thousand dollars if you pick one of the fancy colorways.

A Deep Dive Into The 2026 CVO Road Glide ST

The CVO Road Glide ST might be the cheapest CVO today, but that doesn’t mean there are corners cut here. Instead, this is actually the most powerful and sportiest Harley Grand American Touring bike right now. This is down to its inspiration from the King Of The Baggers championship bike. At the same time, luxury and comfort are both in heaps to justify the CVO tag. Here are the details.

A Milwaukee-Eight High Output V-twin Brings The Firepower

Harley-Davidson

We start with the engine. You get Harley’s flagship Milwaukee-Eight 121 V-twin engine here, as seen on other CVOs. But there are some changes to boost performance. The variable valve timing has been ditched in favor of a conventional setup to allow the engine to rev higher. You also get a high-performance camshaft, a Screamin’ Eagle performance exhaust, and a high-flow air intake.

All that takes the output to 127 horsepower and 145 pound-feet–the highest for a factory-fitted H-D engine yet (and 12 ponies and 6 pound-feet up from the normal CVO Road Glide). Harley also says the gearing for the six-speed transmission is different to boost acceleration. Even with all this, the fuel efficiency (44 MPG) is still comparable to the regular VVT 121 engine.

Fully Adjustable Showa Suspension, Petal Rotors, And Light Wheels Up The Sportiness

Complementing the sporty engine is a set of sporty underpinnings. Fully adjustable 47 mm Showa upside-down forks (with a Diamond-like coating) and Showa shock absorbers (with adjustment knobs) are derived from the racing world, while being attached to new multi-spoke 19/17-inch alloy wheels. The latter is said to be lighter than conventional CVO wheels. Topping things off is a set of petal disc brakes. These also shed unsprung mass compared to the non-ST CVO, while also promising better braking power.

Another highlight is the weight. The ST tips the scales at 838 pounds fully fueled–a sizable 25 less than the CVO Road Glide (no longer on sale right now). The saddle height and wheelbase remain the same as the non-ST model, so this should be an overall easier-to-live-with machine between the two.

A Hefty Dose Of Carbon Fiber Parts And Premium Features Boost The Value

Harley-Davidson

Coming to features, the ST justifies its CVO tag well. The cockpit comprises Harley’s new 12.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, armed with smartphone connectivity and touchscreen controls. This is also your gateway to a plethora of rider aids, comprising:

  • Multiple ride modes (Road, Sport, Track, Track Plus, Rain, and Custom modes)
  • Cornering ABS
  • Traction control
  • Hill-hold
  • Cruise control
  • Rockford Fosgate Stage II 6.5-inch fairing speakers with 500-watt amplifier
  • Electronically linked brakes
  • Drag torque slip control

These aside, there are some distinct elements on the ST. Firstly, there’s carbon fiber everywhere, be it on the exhaust tips, the pillion seat cowl, front fender, or even the tank mid-section. Then, your saddle has a custom-stitched leather cover, with contrast red stitching and suede bits.

Once aboard, you’ll also appreciate the drag-style handlebar (mounted on a six-inch riser) and sporty forward-set floorboards. Finally, storage is aplenty, comprising two hard saddlebags at the rear and small cubby spaces in the fairing section. The fairing also has two Rockford Fosgate speakers.
