Mopar muscle cars are the hot commodity these days and for good reason. They have the best looks, the best engines, and the best lore. Many of the best Chrysler machines have also been immortalized on the silver screen, bringing all sorts of attention to the classifieds. If you’re among the many on the hunt for a Hemi- or Magnum-powered something or another, we’ve got you covered. We’ve rounded up five of the absolute best Mopar muscle you have the chance to add to your fleet this weekend.

1969 Dodge Charger from Fast Five Movie

We’re starting this list with an actual movie car that left Chrysler nuts with their hearts throbbing. It’s a “1970” Dodge Charger that made an appearance on-screen in Fast Five. Despite not being used for any race sequences, it’s packing some serious heat under the hood. Unlike many other film cars, it’s not rocking a down-and-dirty SBC swap. This one’s powered by a real Gen II 426 Hemi, paired with all sorts of other performance updates drivers will love. The current bid is still at a very reasonable number for a car of this caliber, so you might as well drop your name in the running.

1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340 Six Pack

Dodge Challenger Demon 170

Up next is a certifiable dream car from the Mopar lineage. It’s a 1970 Challenger T/A, which is arguably one of the greatest homologation specials ever made. It’s one of roughly 2,400 examples Dodge needed to produce to satisfy SCCA regulations, and it’s equipped with one of the greatest engines of all time, the 340 Six-Pack. These things were called “Giant Killers” for a reason, and you can’t really trust the original 290-horsepower rating Dodge attached to them. You’d think being finished in Hemi Orange is the ultimate cherry on top, but it’s actually the fact that this is a legitimate Mr. Norm’s car that was ordered from his legendary Grand Spaulding dealership. Yes. This is cooler than the average Hemi car.

2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170

Next up is the fastest Dodge muscle car ever built. This is the legendary Challenger SRT Demon 170. Dodge built these as part of the insane Last Call campaign that sunsetted Hemi muscle of the 2000s. Reviving the Demon nameplate that first appeared in 2018, Dodge cranked the power through the roof. This monster is capable of producing more than 1,000 hp, clearing the quarter mile in 8.91 seconds. That’s quick enough to get you kicked off the track after just one run, thanks to the lack of necessary safety equipment. The Direct Connection parachute equipped to this model can help with that.

1965 Dodge Coronet 500 Hardtop

If you’re looking for a Mopar you can actually drive without guilt, this is the one for you. It’s a 1965 Coronet 500 hardtop. It predates the style most classic car enthusiasts associate with this generation, and it has all the right hardware to make it an excellent conversation piece, too. It started life with a mild 318 that has since been swapped for a 413. No, it’s not a Max-Wedge, but it is still a torque king that walked before the 440 could run. With the cam, intake, and header upgrades already in place, this is a machine you can jump in and enjoy as soon as the auction ends, making it an ideal choice for many.

1963 Plymouth Fury Convertible

What about a Sunday cruiser? You know, the kind with fuel injection, a drop top, and still enough juice to have some serious fun with? We got that, too. This ‘63 Fury convertible is as beefy as it is beautiful. It’s got a 505 cubic-inch big block under the hood with a laundry list of killer hardware to make it sing. It’s also been beautifully restored to perfect driver condition to ensure it’s something you and the whole family can enjoy on a nice sunny day. Current bids are also remarkably low for a car this nice, making it something you really ought to consider.
