Toyota‘s C-HR has always leaned on looks to make its case, and the battery-electric version doubles down on that. The wide stance, coupe-like roofline, and hammerhead front end give it a silhouette that stands apart from the boxy shapes dominating the compact EV space, and the e-TNGA platform underneath means the proportions aren’t compromised by a converted gas architecture.
Style alone doesn’t sell a daily driver, though, and the C-HR backs its shape up with real usability. Fold the 60/40 rear seats flat and there’s up to 59.5 cubic feet back there, while the cabin pairs a 14-inch touchscreen with dual wireless chargers, USB-C ports front and rear, and a 1500W outlet in the cargo area. Available in SE and XSE grades, it’s the design-forward option in a segment that badly needs one.
The C-HR’s cabin follows a clean, open layout that avoids the button-heavy clutter of some rivals. A slim driver’s display sits ahead of the wheel, while the center console stays low and easy to reach without forcing a stretch.

Ambient lighting is customizable, letting drivers set the mood to match the drive. XSE buyers can add a panoramic fixed glass roof with a power sunshade, which opens the space up considerably on lighter days.
