MG has been successful in the 2026 Auto Express New Car Awards with the MG HS Plug-in Hybrid winning the title of Affordable Hybrid Car of the Year plus the new MG4 EV Urban commended in two categories – the Small Company Car of the Year and Affordable Electric Car of the Year.
The MG HS Plug-in Hybrid is a spacious SUV with a premium interior, boasting 75 miles of range on pure electric power with a fully charged battery and recently achieved the number one position in a review of 59 plug-in hybrids by Auto Express.

The new MG4 EV Urban, launched in February 2026, is a front-wheel-drive electric hatchback with a modern, high-tech interior, a WLTP range of up to 258 miles and prices ranging from just £23,495 to £27,995.
