Hyundai Motor America secured its seventh consecutive IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Touring Car (TCR) Manufacturers’ Championship Friday at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, extending Hyundai’s record championship streak in the series. The manufacturer has now claimed every TCR Manufacturers’ Championship since 2020, continuing its dominant run in the class. With four wins on the season and a podium finish at every IMPC race, Hyundai collected 3,350 points en route to the seventh title over competitor manufacturer, Honda.
Hyundai’s championship season concluded with another victory for Bryan Herta Autosport’s (BHA) No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, as Mason Filippi and Bryson Morris secured the TCR class win in the FOX Factory 120. The victory also secured the TCR Drivers’ Championship for Filippi and Morris, who finished the season with 3,080 points each. The championship-winning No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR delivered a standout performance in the season finale, securing a third-place overall finish and setting a record for the highest overall finish by a TCR car in series history. The result surpassed the previous record of 15th overall while competing against higher horsepower Grand Sport (GS) class GT4 cars.

The No. 76 Hyundai Elantra N TCR pairing of Denis Dupont and Preston Brown finished second with 2,810 points, followed by the No. 98 pairing of Madison Aust and Mark Wilkins in sixth with 2,440 points. The No. 18 pairing of Harry Gottsacker and Lance Bergstein finished in ninth with 2,300 points. The BHA stable of four Hyundai Elantra N TCRs and the team’s success across the 2026 season to earn another IMPC Teams’ Championship. With this result, Hyundai and BHA completed a sweep of the 2026 TCR Manufacturers’, Drivers’ and Teams’ championships.

Hyundai Hope on Wheels celebrated the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season finale with a strong performance from the No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, which secured a podium finish and led 40 laps at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, donating $14,000 to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Throughout the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season, Hyundai Hope on Wheels donated a total of $85,000 to local children’s hospitals across the championship’s race weekends. The season-long initiative reflects Hyundai’s continued commitment to supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer in communities across the country.
