MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, LLC (HMMA) announced today that its Team Members raised $14,575 for the Heart of Alabama Food Bank during the company’s annual food drive, reaffirming a strong culture of generosity and community support across the organization.

Inspired by the outpouring of Team Member contributions, HMMA added a $15,000 corporate donation, bringing the total contribution to $29,575. The combined gift will help the Heart of Alabama Food Bank provide tens of thousands of meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity across central Alabama.

‘Our team has once again demonstrated their generosity and love for their neighbors and community,’ said Scott Posey, HMMA manager of public relations. ‘In these challenging times, there are people in great need. The funds that HMMA and its Team Members have donated today will help provide nearly 150,000 meals to people who worry today that they might not be able to eat tomorrow.’

HMMA’s annual food drive continues to be an important tradition that brings Team Members together in support of local communities. Through both individual giving and corporate support, the initiative reflects HMMA’s ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond the workplace.

Each dollar donated to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank can provide five meals to Alabamians in need, amplifying the impact of every contribution and ensuring essential resources reach families throughout the region.
