• ‘FULL SEND’ Supersports makes appearance at famous Daikoku car meet, and across Tokyo
• Dedicated coffee and cars event in Shinjuku with Bentley Creative Director Mai Ikuzawa
The famous tower was illuminated Bentley green in celebration of the occasion, with the Bentley emblem emblazoned on the viewing deck of the structure which rises above Tokyo. Beneath the legs of the tower, the new driver-focused Continental GT S made its Japanese debut in front of more than 100 VIP guests, supported by the car that inspired it – the new Supersports.
The Supersports – represented by Bentley’s own ‘Pymkhana’ car that was driven by Travis Pastrana for the Supersports: FULL SEND film released earlier this year – had made two other appearances across Tokyo before Saturday night’s Tokyo Tower event. The first was at the renowned and popular Daikoku car meet, where the car arrived to join the informal and respectful gathering of Japanese car culture which takes place on most Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Inspired by the legendary car modification ethos that runs through Japan’s car collective, the Supersports was fitted with underbody illumination for the trip, glowing soft green to match the accent colour of the car’s livery and front wheels.

Bentley’s Regional Director for Asia Pacific, Dave Hayter:
‘Japan has always been a strong market for Bentley. As we continue to explore our more sporting side again, we were honoured to debut the new driver-focused Continental GT S to our most loyal customers with the unique event at the Tokyo Tower in collaboration with Cornes Tokyo. Having the FULL SEND Supersports with us made the occasion even more special, and our coffee and cars party on Friday night in Shinjuku – with Bentley at its heart – showed us that interest in our brand is growing, while we also make new friends.’
The FULL SEND Supersports now returns to the UK, ahead of making its UK public debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.
