Acura scores frontrow lockout at Road America

The Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian team locked out the front row today in qualifying for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix at Road America.
Yelloly and teammate Renger van der Zande are winners already this year, having taken the honors at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach back in April and will be hoping to add to that tally with a win in tomorrow’s six-hour race. The duo finished second last time out at Watkins Glen alongside Honda-supported Japanese driver Kaku Ohta in the first six-hour race of the season, Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.
Tom Blomqvist qualified the #60 Acura ARX-06 second on the grid at Road America. Blomqvist and co-driver Colin Braun are looking for their first podium finish of the season after contact from a fellow GTP driver took them out of contention last time out at Watkins Glen. The duo were hoping to defend their 2025 victory in the six-hour race there.
This is Acura’s third-consecutive pole at Road America following Yelloly’s pole last year and an all-Acura front row in 2024.
