• Guests included Monty Halls, Preet Chandi MBE, Anita Rani, Sarah Ruggins, Paul Gorton and more
• Dacia’s City Escape is now open to the public, situated in Bernie Spain Gardens on London’s South Bank until 24 July
Hosted at Bernie Spain Gardens on London’s South Bank, the special exclusive party gave invited guests the first opportunity to see the new Dacia Striker in the UK while offering a preview of Dacia’s City Escape – a two-day experience designed to bring a taste of the outdoors into the heart of the capital.
Among those attending was broadcaster and adventurer Monty Halls, record-breaking polar explorer Preet Chandi MBE, endurance cyclist Sarah Ruggins, presenter and adventurer Anita Rani television personality Paul Gorton and more, alongside media, partners and invited guests.
Only recently revealed, the new Dacia Striker combines the dynamism of an estate, the practicality of a hatchback and the ground clearance of an SUV. Its appearance at Dacia’s City Escape marks the first opportunity for people in the UK to experience Dacia’s newest electrified crossover in person.
From today, visitors to Dacia’s City Escape can get up close with the new Striker while enjoying a programme of outdoor-inspired experiences, family-friendly activities and talks celebrating everyday adventure. Whether it’s taking time to switch off in one of the activity tents, testing navigation skills or simply escaping the pace of the city for a while, Dacia’s City Escape is designed to show that adventure doesn’t have to be far away.
Dacia’s City Escape runs until 24 July 2026 at Bernie Spain Gardens on London’s South Bank.
