Shelby’s New 810-HP F-150 Is Basically A Super Snake Mustang With A Bed
Shelby has officially brought back the F-150 Super Snake Sport, and it clearly had no interest in making a sensible return. The new street truck packs more than 810 horsepower, four-wheel drive, a sports car-inspired suspension, and just two doors because rear passengers would only add unnecessary weight.
Limited to 500 examples for 2026, the reborn Super Snake Sport takes the humble Ford F-150 regular cab and transforms it into something that sounds better suited to a drag strip than a Home Depot parking lot. Shelby calls it the “Return of the King,” and with as much power as a Ferrari 12Cilindri, the crown certainly seems to fit.
The Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport Packs More Than 810 HP
The transformation begins with a Ford F-150 Lariat 4×4 powered by the familiar 5.0-liter Coyote V8. In its standard configuration, the engine produces 400 horsepower, which is perfectly respectable for a pickup truck. Shelby, however, apparently considers 400 horsepower a warm-up act.
The optional Stage 2 supercharger more than doubles the output to over 810 horsepower when running 93-octane fuel. Shelby also adds a high-flow intake, carbon-fiber intake tube, upgraded fuel injectors, Ford Performance spark plugs, a larger aluminum heat exchanger, and a delightfully excessive 5W50 motor oil upgrade.
Shelby hasn’t released an official 0-60 mph time for the new truck, but the previous 2020 Super Snake Sport could hit 60 mph in a ridiculous 3.42 seconds. The company says this new version is the fastest street truck from a standing start it has ever offered. Translation: You may want to secure everything in the bed before flooring it.
Four-wheel drive should help the truck deploy all 810 horses without immediately turning its Michelin performance tires into expensive smoke. A Shelby-tuned Borla side-exit exhaust also ensures that everyone nearby knows this is not the contractor-spec F-150 arriving to provide a roofing estimate.
Shelby Wants Its Super Truck To Handle Like A Mustang
Straight-line speed was only part of Shelby’s plan. The company wanted the Super Snake Sport to deliver the same basic experience as its Super Snake Mustang, only with a bed and considerably more room for power tools.
The truck receives a Shelby-exclusive lowered suspension with adjustable KING coilovers and rear traction bars. Oversized drilled and slotted Baer brake rotors help bring the party back under control, while enormous 22-inch Shelby wheels complete its street-truck stance.
Visually, the Super Snake Sport looks like an F-150 that has spent far too much time hanging around Mustangs. It gets an aluminum dual-intake ram-air hood, a new grille, a front splitter, functional fender vents, widened body-color flares, ground effects, rally stripes, and a custom tonneau cover.
There is also enough Shelby branding to make identification nearly impossible to mess up. Three-dimensional Shelby lettering appears on the bed sides and tailgate, while puddle lamps project another reminder onto the ground. Nobody is confusing this thing with the plumbing company’s work truck.
Inside, Shelby adds top-grain leather seats, carbon-fiber-style trim, billet racing pedals, digital gauges, embroidered floor mats, and serialized plaques. Every truck will be documented in the official Shelby Registry, giving owners proof that their 810-hp F-150 is the real deal and not a regular cab with an enthusiastic collection of decals.
An 810-HP F-150 With A Six-Figure Price
All that power and exclusivity do not come cheaply. The supercharged 2026 Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport starts at $115,795, including the fully loaded donor F-150. That is serious money for a regular-cab pickup, but this is hardly intended for anyone shopping purely by payload capacity. It is a four-wheel-drive muscle truck with more than 800 horsepower, Mustang-inspired styling, and production capped at only 500 units.
The truck also comes with a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty, while Ford’s original powertrain warranty remains intact. Sales will take place through selected Shelby Performance Ford dealerships across the United States.
Is it practical? Maybe. Is it sensible? Not even slightly. But, in a world increasingly filled with polite electric pickups and family-friendly crew cabs, an 810-hp, two-door F-150 feels like exactly the kind of automotive nonsense we need right now.
