Nissan’s capable and effortlessly powerful full-size SUV earns more official recognition for owner satisfaction

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Consumer Reports, a trusted authority on independent, data-driven vehicle testing and owner insights has ranked the Nissan Armada a Top-Rated Large SUV1. The result is a testament to the proven performance that makes Armada one of the most compelling large SUVs on the road today. Consumer Reports’ scoring methodology considers the organization’s road-test results, predicted reliability and owner satisfaction, and other data to rate vehicles within segments.

The Nissan Armada thrills owners with effortless capability off-road and exceptional on-road comfort. Nissan’s first twin-turbo SUV, Armada delivers comfort and poise on the road with a twin-turbo, direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 engine rated for 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque2 and a standard towing capacity of up to 8,500 pounds3. Advanced available camera technologies, including segment-first Invisible Hood View4, Front Wide View5 and 3D Intelligent Around View® Monitor5, help drivers spot obstacles when parking or when venturing off-pavement.

Armada’s first-ever PRO-4X grade was designed to help drivers confidently tackle rough terrain, and is equipped with an electronic locking rear differential, Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension6, all-terrain tires, eight selectable drive modes and a metal underbody skid plate.
