Genesis House today announced a partnership with Hand Hospitality, one of New York’s leading Korean-American hospitality groups, to usher in the next chapter of its culinary experience.

The partnership marks an important milestone in the continued evolution of Genesis House, building on its commitment to creating memorable experiences where hospitality, design, innovation and community intersect. As part of the transition, the restaurant will temporarily close beginning in September and is expected to reopen later this fall under Hand Hospitality’s leadership. Additional details will be shared in the coming months.

Since opening in November 2021 in the heart of the Meatpacking District, Genesis House has welcomed hundreds of thousands of guests through a distinctive blend of hospitality, cultural programming, design and culinary experiences. The restaurant has played a central role in that journey, serving as a gathering place for guests to experience contemporary Korean culture, hospitality and cuisine while helping establish Genesis House as one of New York City’s most unique destinations.

Founded in New York, Hand Hospitality has earned a reputation for its thoughtful approach to Korean cuisine and hospitality, creating experiences that honor tradition while fostering a sense of connection and community. As part of this transition, Genesis House will conclude its restaurant partnership with Restaurant Associates, whose team has helped shape the culinary experience since Genesis House opened in 2021. Their dedication to hospitality and guest service played a meaningful role in establishing Genesis House as a destination for locals and visitors from around the world.

During the transition, Genesis House will continue normal operations throughout the Showroom, offering guests the opportunity to see firsthand the design and engineering excellence of Genesis brand, including the all-new GV90 flagship SUV.
