Unlike traditional vehicle manufacturers, BYD delivers a fully integrated mobility and energy solution, acting as a true one-stop-shop partner capable of supporting customers throughout their transition to zero-emission transport

A complete ecosystem designed around productivity
At the heart of BYD’s approach is the belief that the future of transport will not be defined by the vehicle alone, but by the seamless integration of vehicle, energy, charging infrastructure and intelligent fleet operation.
Through its proprietary Total Cost of Mobility (TCM) philosophy, BYD helps operators optimise every element of their business, from vehicle efficiency and charging performance to energy procurement, infrastructure utilisation and lifecycle management.

This integrated vision enables fleet operators to reduce operational complexity, improve uptime and accelerate the path toward profitable electrification.

‘We have already put FLASH Charging into practice in passenger vehicles. Today, we are bringing this technology to commercial vehicles, starting with our trucks. With 1.5 Megawatts of charging power, it can charge from 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes – delivering up to 248 miles of range. Less time charging. More time on the road,’ said Stella Li, Executive Vice President of BYD.

‘Greater efficiency for every vehicle. From batteries and solar power to energy storage, FLASH Charging and commercial vehicles. We provide a one-stop Solution for Sustainable commercial transport. One company. One ecosystem. One total energy solution.’

Introducing the ETT 44: the flagship of a new generation
Leading the display is the new BYD ETT 44, the company’s flagship heavy-duty electric tractor and the most powerful expression of BYD’s vision for the future of long-haul transport.

Designed from the ground up as a native electric platform, the ETT 44 combines high performance, ultra-fast charging capability, advanced battery technology and driver-focused ergonomics within a purpose-built architecture engineered to maximise productivity.

However, the ETT 44 represents more than a technological achievement.

As the flagship model of the BYD truck range, it embodies a new design direction for commercial vehicles, demonstrating how functionality, innovation and emotional appeal can coexist within a modern heavy-duty truck.

Its distinctive styling, dynamic proportions and refined visual identity have been developed to create immediate recognition and reinforce BYD’s ambition to become a leading force in European commercial transportation.

The ETT 44’s Blade Battery is backed by a 10-year / 1.2-million-kilometre warranty as standard – well beyond the 2–3-year base-vehicle warranties and 6-8 year battery warranties typically offered across the European market, where extended coverage is usually a paid option. Combined with BYD’s Total Cost of Mobility (TCM) approach, which manages vehicle, energy consumption, electricity pricing, charging infrastructure, operations and financing as a single, optimised system, the ETT 44 is designed to give fleet operators confidence across the vehicle’s entire lifecycle.

The vehicle introduces a bold and confident design language that reflects the same attributes found in BYD’s technology strategy: innovation, integration, efficiency and forward-thinking ambition.

One vision. One partner. One ecosystem.
The ETT 44 headline launch is supported by a complete range of electric commercial vehicles, including rigid trucks, vocational solutions and yard tractors, all sharing the same technology foundations and ecosystem approach.

Together, they demonstrate BYD’s ability to provide customers with a fully integrated pathway to electrification, backed by in-house expertise across vehicle development, battery technology, charging infrastructure, energy storage and energy management.

With this expanded portfolio and the introduction of the ETT 44 flagship, BYD reinforces its commitment to becoming Europe’s preferred partner for sustainable commercial transport.
