Fiat has expanded its Topolino range with the introduction of the Dolcevita – a new version of its small electric quadricycle featuring an opening fabric roof.
Previously reserved for special edition models, the retractable soft-top is now available as part of the regular Topolino line-up, giving buyers an open-air alternative to the standard hard-top version.
The Dolcevita has the same Topolino compact dimensions and electric powertrain. A two-seater closely related to the Citroën Ami, the Topolino is designed for low-speed urban journeys around towns and cities, rather than longer trips or motorway driving.

Although it looks like a very small car, the Topolino is officially classified as a light quadricycle, meaning it is subject to different regulations from conventional passenger cars.
The Dolcevita’s main distinguishing feature is its folding fabric roof, which allows occupants to enjoy open-air driving without removing the vehicle’s doors or roof structure.
Orders for the Fiat Topolino Dolcevita are now open through selected UK retailers. The standard Topolino remains available from £9k on-the-road, while the new Dolcevita costs £9.5k. That is a £500 premium for the opening roof.
