Proudly assembled in Smyrna, Tennessee, this is the first time Rogue has been named No. 1 in its IQS segment, a powerful statement of vehicle quality and satisfaction for Nissan’s best-selling SUV1.
In further recognition of the quality built into every U.S.-assembled Rogue, Smyrna Line 2 also received an Americas Bronze Plant Award.
The JD Power IQS surveys owners about 227 potential problems, organized into nine categories, to rank vehicles and brands based on problems per 100 vehicles (PP100) that occur during the first 90 days of ownership. Nissan’s continued performance in this study reflects the brand’s ongoing efforts to deliver high-quality vehicles that satisfy owners.
‘Quality is foundational to how we design, engineer and build every Nissan. That focus is reflected in our performance in the JD Power Initial Quality Study,’ said Christian Meunier, chairman, Nissan Americas. ‘Rogue represents the very best of Nissan in the largest segment in the U.S., setting the standard in compact SUVs with the No. 1 ranking for new-vehicle quality.’
Nissan is America’s fastest-growing mainstream brand2, powered in part by Rogue retail sales, which were up 17% for the month of May.
