The folks at Triumph are staying quite busy, as the British brand confirmed today that it will launch four new models for 2027. The U.K. firm has scheduled debuts of this moto-quadruplet starting this month and running through December, releasing images and video to support its efforts. The first of the four, the all-new Bonneville T40 and T40 Black, is revealed in full today.

As for the other models, expect rolling announcements every few weeks, starting with the 2027 Triumph Tiger 1200 on Oct. 27, followed by the all-new 2027 Triumph Street Triple 798 on Nov. 17 and the new Tiger 900 on Dec. 15.

What We Know and What We Don’t

The timing follows one of the strongest stretches in Triumph’s history, along with a flurry of new and updated models in recent seasons. The Hinckley, England-based manufacturer delivered a record 141,683 motorcycles in its 2025 financial year, and the brand is hopeful about carrying that momentum forward. Chief Marketing Officer Nick Bell framed the next three months as a run of important launches, saying the brand wants to give riders an early look at what’s coming.

The Bonneville T40 holds crucial importance for several reasons, not least of which is that it is the first single-cylinder-powered motorcycle to wear the Bonneville badge. The entry-level Bonnie uses an updated version of the 400cc TR Series mill, retuned and configured to deliver what the brand calls an authentic Bonneville riding experience. As for the rest of the models, well, we know as much as you do right now, dear readers. So, let’s let the wheels of speculation turn and take a peek at some of the content Triumph has released.

Tiger 1200: Reveal on Oct. 27

Triumph

What Triumph has confirmed:

Judging by the preview images, the new Tiger 1200 wears a fresh design, and according to the brand’s announcement, we’ll see extra performance and refinement out of the Tiger 1200’s engine. Whether it will retain its 1,160cc displacement is unknown at this time. Triumph has also stated that it will be unveiling additional technology aboard its liter-class ADV platform. The brand also says no motorcycle in its history has carried a more advanced suspension setup. The Tiger 1200 will be on display at EICMA and Motorcycle Live.

Triumph

What we expect:

Eagle-eyed readers will spot styling changes, though the bike retains the liter-class Tiger’s aesthetic. We anticipate the rider-aid suite will build on the feature-rich package already in place. Based on the photos, the suspension appears to be Showa semi-active hardware. The current range-topping Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer already uses Showa semi-active damping with automatic electronic preload adjustment and Triumph’s Active Preload Reduction feature, so Triumph’s claim points to something beyond those systems. The suspension could also gain internal hardware changes, perhaps taking a page from the Öhlins playbook. The Swedish brand’s SmartEC3 system uses a spool valve that Öhlins says adjusts damping more quickly than a traditional needle valve, and Triumph already fits SmartEC3 to its Speed Triple 1200 RS. Currently, Showa’s semi-active suspension relies on more traditional needle-valve arrangements.

With the current bike making a claimed 147 horsepower and 95 lb-ft of torque, we expect a modest power gain paired with smoother delivery, given Triumph’s emphasis on refinement.

Street Triple 798: Reveal on Nov. 17

Triumph

What Triumph has confirmed:

The all-new Street Triple 798 is built around the new 798cc triple that Triumph developed to power Moto2 from the 2027 season, revealed in August. Triumph has been Moto2’s sole engine supplier since 2019, and its current contract with Dorna runs through 2029. The brand says this will be the most performance-oriented Street Triple yet. Like the Tiger 1200, it will appear at EICMA and Motorcycle Live.

Triumph

What we expect:

Photos reveal what appears to be an all-new frame, swingarm, bodywork, fuel tank, and headlight, along with a more aggressive posture. The current Street Triple 765 RS makes a claimed 128 horsepower and 59 lb-ft of torque, and an extra 33cc combined with race-derived development should push output higher. Interestingly, the 798cc displacement matches the Tiger Sport 800 and Trident 800, though Triumph has said its new Moto2 engine is not based on that platform, which uses a longer stroke than the Street Triple 765. Triumph has also said the race engine gains torque across the rev range, so we could be looking at a Street Triple with a notable increase in bottom-end performance.

Triumph’s promise of a sharper specification suggests premium suspension, brakes, and expanded track-focused electronics across the range. The current 765 RS pairs Brembo Stylema calipers with a Showa Big Piston fork and an Öhlins rear shock, which appears to be the case here. We could even see a more aggressive riding position, an approach Triumph took to the extreme with the clip-on-equipped Street Triple 765 RX, a one-year special edition for 2026. Triumph has not said whether the 798 will replace the 765 entirely or sit above it, or whether the current variant lineup will continue.

Tiger 900: Reveal on Dec. 15

Triumph

What Triumph has confirmed:

The new Tiger 900 closes out the year with an engine Triumph says is both stronger and smoother, along with chassis upgrades, improved rider technology, and newer connectivity features as standard equipment. Triumph has not said whether the Tiger 900 will be displayed at EICMA or Motorcycle Live.

Triumph

What we expect:

The current Tiger 900 gained power in its most recent update, to a claimed 106.5 horsepower and 66.4 lb-ft of torque, so another increase keeps it competitive in a crowded middleweight adventure class. The connectivity promise is the most telling detail. Today’s GT Pro and Rally Pro pair a 7-inch TFT with the My Triumph Connectivity System. The Bonneville T40 introduces full map navigation through the new Triumph Navigation App, and we expect the Tiger 900 to adopt the same system or a close relative of it. The chassis upgrades will likely target suspension quality across the GT and Rally lines.
