Honda will return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed 9–12 July 2026, delivering a dynamic showcase of its latest automobiles and motorcycles, with a strong focus on performance, electrification, and Honda’s enduring motorsport DNA.

For 2026, Honda’s presence will be centred around the iconic Goodwood Hillclimb and the First Glance paddock, placing its latest models directly into motion and allowing visitors to experience them in action.

Dynamic Debut: Prelude HRC Concept
A highlight of this year’s participation will be the world-first dynamic appearance of the Prelude HRC Concept. Inspired by Honda’s motorsport activities, the model shows the potential for further evolving the brand’s sports DNA. Developed with performance parts engineered by Honda Racing Corporation and Honda Access Corporation, the Prelude HRC Concept explores the potential to enhance driving dynamics and driver engagement through racing-derived technologies.

Its participation on the hill provides the first opportunity to see this performance-focused interpretation of the Prelude in motion, underlining Honda’s commitment to delivering emotionally engaging driving experiences through its electrified vehicles. Jessica Hawkins, Head of F1™ Academy* and Driver Ambassador at Aston Martin Aramco, will conduct the demonstration run of the Prelude HRC Concept, with further appearances on the hill by racing driver Tiago Monteiro.

* An all-female racing series organised by F1™, established to support the development of young female drivers.

Electric Performance in Motion: Honda Super-N
Also tackling the Hillclimb is the Honda Super-N, a compact electric vehicle designed to bring a new level of driving enjoyment to urban mobility. It uses Honda’s Japanese Kei-car expertise from its best-selling N-Series to deliver impressive space and versatility. With its distinctive design and focus on engaging dynamics, the Super-N demonstrates how electrification can deliver both practicality and emotional appeal. Features such as BOOST Mode and a lightweight architecture have been developed to enhance responsiveness and driving fun.

Electric Innovation on the Hill: Honda WN7
The new Honda WN7, the brand’s first full-size electric motorcycle for Europe, will also take part in the Hillclimb. Developed under the concept of ‘Be the Wind’, the WN7 combines Honda’s traditional focus on balance and control with the unique characteristics of electric power, including instant torque and refined, quiet performance.

Its participation at Goodwood highlights Honda’s progression towards electrification in its motorcycle business, while maintaining the core principles of riding enjoyment that define the brand.

Heritage meets Modern Performance: CB1000F
Completing the dynamic line-up is the CB1000F, which will be ridden by three-time world champion and Honda legend Freddie Spencer. A modern roadster inspired by Honda’s rich motorcycling heritage. Combining classic styling with contemporary engineering, the CB1000F reflects Honda’s approach of blending proven performance concepts with modern technology to deliver engaging, accessible riding experiences.

Motorsport DNA: Return of the Williams FW11

Reinforcing Honda’s deep-rooted motorsport heritage, the Williams Honda FW11 Formula One™ car will also take on the Hillclimb. As Honda’s first Formula One™ championship-winning machine, the FW11 represents a defining moment in the company’s racing history. Its presence at Goodwood highlights the role of motorsport as a proving ground for Honda’s technologies and engineering expertise and celebrates the 40th anniversary of Honda’s first constructors title win in the FIA Formula One World Championship™, achieved in 1986.

Damon Hill and Ryo Michigami will pilot the FW11 up the hill. Damon Hill is one of the legendary drivers who won the F1™ Drivers’ Championship in 1996, while Ryo Michigami won the 2000 All Japan GT Championship (JGTC) title with the NSX and has competed in top categories in Japan and overseas for many years.

Innovation Rooted in Racing and Electrification
Honda’s participation reflects its broader strategic direction, combining:

• Electrification across cars and motorcycles
• Performance development shaped by motorsport technologies
• A continued commitment to delivering the ‘joy of driving’ and ‘joy of riding’
Hans de Jaeger, President Honda Motor Europe: ‘Goodwood provides a unique platform to demonstrate Honda’s innovation in action. By focusing on dynamic participation this year, we are showcasing how our latest models bring together performance, electrification and engineering expertise across both cars and motorcycles.’

Since its founding, Honda has regarded racing as a proving ground for both its people and technologies. Its presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed continues to reflect this philosophy, bringing together heritage, innovation and future mobility in one of the world’s most celebrated automotive events.
