• Mazda targets increased volumes of new and used showroom sold units.
Mazda UK is stepping up its focus on the used car market and has unveiled a new Mazda Selected approved used car programme. With Mazda dealers significantly increasing the volume of used stock, the new scheme supports driving used car sales through Mazda’s dealer network, all while ensuring customers are still offered the very best choice and peace-of-mind when it comes to buying a pre-owned Mazda.
Mazda’s strategic focus on used cars has seen the volume of vehicles it actively sources from Motability, on behalf of its dealers, rise from 24% in 2024 to 42% in 2026.
Laura Brailey, Sales Director at Mazda Motors UK, said: ‘Our focus is on helping retailers access more quality stock while giving customers a compelling reason to buy through them. Mazda Selected provides that reassurance through rigorous vehicle preparation standards and a comprehensive ownership package.

‘The profitability of our retailers is paramount which is why we have a programme to grow the number of retail showroom units sold through each site and used cars are a key part of that ambition.’
