Hyundai Motor America has been named Best SUV, Best Car, and Best Truck Brand in the 2026 Newsweek Readers’ Choice™ Awards. Newsweek’s audience also named Santa Fe Best New SUV, Elantra Best New Car, and Santa Cruz Best New Truck. This breadth of recognition underscores Hyundai’s popularity and trust among real-world consumers, reflecting the brand’s ability to deliver compelling models with attractive designs, technology, features, and pricing. ‘Hyundai is making a winning impression among real-world consumers, earning no fewer than six major honors in Newsweek’s 2026 Readers’ Choice™ Awards,’ said Randy Parker, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor North America. ‘This is a standout achievement in a highly competitive environment. Vehicle nominees were selected by Newsweek’s editorial team, with input from industry experts and contributors. Newsweek readers considered more than 100 model-year 2026 vehicles over a four-week public voting period. Readers were able to vote once per category, per day.
