Forget Warthogs—Master Chief just leveled up. Lamborghini and Halo have joined forces to build a one-off Urus SE that looks like it rolled straight out of the UNSC garage, and honestly, it’s one of the coolest gaming-car crossovers we’ve seen in a long time.
If Master Chief ever decided to ditch the Pelican for something with heated seats and nearly 800 horsepower, this would be it.
To celebrate the launch of Halo: Campaign Evolved, Lamborghini created the Urus SE Master Chief 117 Edition, and it’s dripping with Halo fan service. The entire SUV is wrapped in Master Chief’s signature armor-green color, giant 117 graphics are splashed down the sides, the windows get a gold tint just like Chief’s visor, and even the headlights have been tweaked to give off serious Spartan helmet vibes.
Honestly, it does not look cheesy, and instead, looks like something Lamborghini would actually build for humanity’s greatest supersoldier. It’s aggressive, it’s ridiculously cool, and it somehow makes the already wild Urus SE look even more badass. And, if seeing it in real life isn’t enough, you can also drive it in Forza Horizon 6 starting July 30. Just grab the free Master Chief livery through the in-game Message Center, and boom—your garage just got a whole lot more legendary.
Probably not… but it’d look ridiculously cool trying. The Master Chief Edition is based on the Lamborghini Urus SE, the brand’s first plug-in hybrid Super SUV. Under the hood sits a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 paired with an electric motor, pumping out a combined 789 horsepower and 701 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to rocket the SUV from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds before topping out at 194 mph.
Sure, that’s not exactly Warthog territory, but imagine Chief launching this thing across the dunes of Installation 04. The all-wheel-drive system could quite possibly claw through dirt, snow, and loose terrain without breaking a sweat, while the instant shove from the electric motor would make quick escapes from a pack of angry Grunts feel almost effortless.
Of course, the Urus would probably last about five seconds against a Scarab, and we’re pretty sure plasma grenades aren’t covered under Lamborghini’s warranty. But for tearing between UNSC outposts, outrunning a Ghost, or showing up to a Spartan briefing in absolute style? Yeah… we’d absolutely take the keys. Now, all we need is an Energy Sword holder in the center console.
Okay, before you start clearing space in your driveway, no, Lamborghini isn’t giving away the actual Urus. But Halo is doing something that’s still pretty awesome.
