When we talk about cruiser motorcycles, the first ones that come to mind are the big twin bikes from Harley-Davidson and Indian. However, the cruiser segment is far more diverse and includes some very interesting models. The list ranges from bold boxer-twin models that contrast with Harleys to a gorgeous British bobber, a highly reliable custom-styled chopper, and even a Chinese-made looker with an inline-four engine. Interestingly, this list of cruiser bikes that defy the norm also includes Harley-Davidson’s sportiest model today, with the highest power-to-weight ratio.

This list is organized from the most expensive to the most affordable cruiser bikes that deserve a second look.

2026 Harley-Davidson Sportster S

Price: $15,999

The Harley-Davidson Sportster S breaks the tradition of the old-school, air-cooled, chrome-laden big-twin cruiser bike formula. It delivers high-performance muscle-cruiser specs with modern technology, aggressive styling, and impressively low curb weight. At the heart sits one of Harley’s most modern V-twins—the Revolution Max 1250T.

This 1,252 cc liquid-cooled mill produces 121 horsepower at 7,500 RPM and 93 pound-feet of torque at 6,000 RPM. The chassis features a lightweight frame supported by fully adjustable inverted front forks and a rear monoshock. The whole package weighs 502 pounds and is highly accessible, with a seat height of 28.9 inches.

2025 BMW R 18

Price: $15,395

This Beemer rewrites the age-old cruiser formula with a bold, unique engine format. It is even more impressive because the R 18 offers the same old-school charm as any big-twin Harley. Its timeless heritage design, mechanical honesty, and minimal tech appeal add to its charm and are why it deserves a second chance.

At its heart is an 1,802 cc mill that produces 91 horsepower at 4,750 RPM and 120 pound-feet of torque. It sits inside an old-school double-loop steel frame, suspended on telescopic front forks and a central spring strut attached to the steel twin-sided swing arm. Its stretched-out stance makes it a certified head-turner too.

2026 Indian Chief 111

Price: $14,999

Often buried behind Harley-Davidson’s popularity, the Indian Chief is criminally underrated. It deserves a second look because this gorgeous old-school cruiser fuses raw, minimalist styling with a daily-ridable V-twin engine. Its narrower chassis design further boosts riding engagement. It ditches the usual heavy castings and uses a welded steel tube frame, suspended on 46 mm front telescopic forks and preload-adjustable dual rear shocks.

At the heart sits a charming 111 cubic-inch air-cooled Thunderstroke V-twin that has been around for quite some time. It produces 108 pound-feet of torque at 3,200 RPM. While most riders opt for the more powerful Thunderstroke 116 on the $18,499 Chief Dark Horse, the base trim with the 111 V-twin is even more desirable, especially for its VFM.

2026 Triumph Bonneville Bobber

Price: $14,795

The Triumph Bonneville Bobber shows that non-V-twin old-school charm can be just as desirable. This British cruiser cleverly blends raw 1940s vintage styling with neatly hidden modern engineering, versatile parallel-twin performance, and the comfort and flexibility classic big-twin hardtails can’t match.

At the heart of this bobber sits a liquid-cooled 1,200 cc parallel-twin engine with 77 horsepower at 6,100 RPM and 78.18 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 RPM. It weighs modestly at 551.2 pounds and is highly accessible, with a seat height of 27.17 inches. So the power-to-weight ratio is on par with what you’d expect from a 1200cc example.

2025 Honda Fury

Price: $11,499

This is arguably the wildest factory cruiser bike Japan has ever made. Honda has combined radical, head-turning custom chopper aesthetics and dimensions with its legendary mechanical dependability. It is stretched-out, with a 71.0-inch wheelbase and a 32-degree rake angle.

That pairs up with a 21-inch front wheel, a hardtail-style hidden rear shock, and mimics a high-dollar boutique custom chopper build. Nothing has such a package under $12,000. At its heart, a trusty 1,312 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine powers it, tuned for strong, usable torque rather than peak numbers. It produces 57 horsepower and 76 pound-feet of torque.

2026 Benda LFC 700

Price: $10,899

Dismissing the Benda LFC 700 solely because it’s Chinese would be shortsighted. This impressive, custom-styled cruiser shatters traditional conventions with a four-cylinder engine, futuristic sci-fi styling, and a record-breaking rear tire size. A high-revving 677 cc inline-four liquid-cooled engine powers this bold machine.

It produces 84 horsepower at 10,300 RPM and 44 pound-feet of torque at 8,600 RPM. The rear tire is a humongous 310-section unit that is mounted on an 18-inch wheel. KYB hardware handles the suspension: 43 mm inverted front forks and a horizontal hidden rear monoshock.

2025 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec

Price: $8,999

The Yamaha Bolt R-Spec is the last of its kind to bridge classic American bobber styling and proven Japanese mechanical reliability. The cherry on top is its accessible pricing, both in terms of base price and livability in the long-term. A lot of the credit for the latter goes to the seasoned 942 cc air-cooled 60-degree V-twin.

It’s also surprisingly athletic for a cruiser. A double-cradle steel frame supports it, with 41 mm telescopic front forks and dual piggyback preload-adjustable rear shocks. Its manageable curb weight of 542 pounds makes it much more playable. It also has a custom-friendly platform and is a cult classic among aftermarket enthusiasts.

2027 Kawasaki Vulcan S

Price: $8,099

The Kawasaki Vulcan S quickly drops off a traditionalist’s cruiser list because of its versatile underpinnings. However, its fusion of a low-slung cruiser design, responsive, agile handling, and sport bike DNA makes the Vulcan S a unique do-it-all cruiser and worth a second look.

The Vulcan S packs a Ninja 650-shared 649 cc parallel-twin engine. This liquid-cooled mill produces 60 horsepower at 7,500 RPM and 46.5 pound-feet of torque at 6,600 RPM. It is highly accessible, with a seat height of 27.8 inches, and includes the Ergo-Fit feature, which offers an adaptive rider triangle.

2026 Benda Napoleon Bob 500

Price: $6,499

This underrated Chinese cruiser bike punches well above its price tag, with custom-bike aesthetics, a peppy V-twin engine, and surprising everyday rideability. Its 476 cc liquid-cooled V-twin produces 47 horsepower and 31 pound-feet of torque, while its low curb weight and a traditional cradle-type steel frame should bring predictable handling.

The tech is decent, with ABS, traction control, and a compact digital display. All this for under $7,000 is a steal. It is a fine example of style over excess and a worthy contender if you want a factory bobber with personality and no baggage. Finally, it gets faux girder-style front forks that add to its visual drama.

2026 Moto Morini Calibro 700

Price: $5,999

Moto Morini

Where the Vulcan S is a do-it-all cruiser, the Moto Morini Calibro 700 is a more focused, underrated option. It punches well above its price tag, offering a rare blend of muscle power, relatively low-maintenance features, and gorgeous looks. At the heart sits a chirpy 270-degree parallel-twin 693 cc engine that produces 68 horsepower at 6,500 RPM and 50.2 pound-feet of torque at 8,500 RPM.

The underpinnings are simple yet effective, with a traditional double-cradle frame and a steel swing arm. The ergonomics are comfortable, with a relaxed rider triangle and a seat height of 28.3 inches. Right now, a special deal makes the package even sweeter, cutting the price to just $5,499.
