Hyundai is leasing one of its best-reviewed SUVs for less than most compact sedans right now. A Leasehackr deal alert shows the 2026 Palisade SE and SEL leasing for as little as $249 per month in Florida and California, with $4,135 due at signing. Higher trims and other states range from $262 to $369 per month, and the offer runs through November 2 on 2026 model-year units only.
The Drive has praised its near-class-leading interior, while Edmunds has commended its road manners. That makes the unusually cheap lease worth examining more closely.
The $249 rate applies to SE and SEL trims in Florida and California, assuming an 8% MSRP discount or a pre-negotiated Leasehackr rate. That $249 figure carries $4,135 due at signing; a nearby $262-per-month version in the same trims requires only $1,916 up front, giving shoppers a way to trade a lower monthly payment for less cash down.
Move up to the SEL and SEL Hybrid in California, and the payment rises to $277 per month with $3,079 at signing. In Illinois, the same hybrid trim reportedly runs $369 per month with $3,376 due. All of these numbers assume $0 toward a down payment, Tier 1 credit through Hyundai Motor Finance, a 24-month term, and 7,500 miles per year. Buyers who want 10,000 miles annually should expect about $19 more per month.
Against its direct three-row rivals, the Palisade’s entry-level lease looks unusually cheap. The 2027 Kia Telluride S, which shares a platform heritage with the Palisade, is leasing from $429 per month on a 36-month FWD term, or $449 per month with AWD, with $3,999 due at signing. Either way, the Telluride’s cheapest advertised 36-month rate starts roughly $180 higher per month than the Palisade’s $249 entry point.
Volkswagen’s Atlas lineup runs further out of reach for shoppers chasing a low monthly number. The 2026 Atlas SE Tech FWD leases for $459 per month over 36 months with $4,999 at signing. Both offers also expire November 2, putting them on the same deadline as the Palisade deal, but at $210 to $240 more per month.
The deal’s limited geography, November 2 deadline, and restriction to 2026 models suggest Hyundai is clearing inventory ahead of the 2027 model year. However, the $249 rate is a best-case scenario reserved for Tier 1 credit applicants. Interested shoppers should confirm local availability before the offer expires.
