Best-ever September for ForesterForester sales up 45.9 percent in September and 17.6 percent year-to-dateWRX sales up 47.8 percent year-to-date
Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) today reported 52,056 vehicle sales for September 2026, a 13.2 percent increase compared to September 2025. Forester took the top-seller position, achieving its best-ever September, while Crosstrek and Outback also posted year-over-year gains.

Forester led all models in September with 15,989 vehicles sold, up 17.6 percent year-to-date. Crosstrek followed with 15,296 vehicles sold, a 6.8 percent increase over September 2025, and Outback rounded out the top three positions with 12,651 vehicles sold, up 1.9 percent over the previous year. The enthusiast-focused WRX had a breakout month, with sales climbing 166.1 percent over the previous September and 47.8 percent year-to-date, solidifying its position in the marketplace as an affordable manual option for drivers.
