Again, it’s all designed to be easy for drivers. Genesis Connected Services enable you to check your charging status remotely, and pre-warm the cabin and de-ice the windows from your smartphone while it’s still plugged in, saving your range for the trip ahead. And, if it’s navigating to a charger, the car will automatically heat the battery to just the right temperature for the fastest possible top-up.

Exhilarating Performance

Magma is the next step in the Genesis story. It’s the division tasked with taking the company into motorsport, beginning in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship, and creates a direct link between that track expertise and a line-up of ultra-high-performance road-going EVs. This begins with the GV60 Magma.

Launching this year, the GV60 Magma delivers a breathtaking 641bhp and reaches 62mph in just 3.4 seconds on its way to a 164mph top speed. It’s marked out by unique aerodynamic bodywork, bespoke bucket seats and 21-inch forged alloy wheels, and gets two additional drive modes tailored towards touring and track use. It even features Genesis’s groundbreaking Virtual Gearshift technology that mimics the gear changes of a high-performance petrol car, complete with rev-matching, a 9000rpm redline and authentic pops and crackles. It also benefits from the same updates as other GV60 models, including the new panoramic display, 84kWh battery and ultra-fast charging.

If your choice list doesn’t stretch that far, then other versions won’t leave you short changed. The GV60 Performance takes just 4.0 seconds to reach 62mph, while the Electrified GV70 comes in at 4.4 seconds. Proof that Genesis isn’t afraid to push the limits of the technology.

The Personal Touch

At Genesis, luxury goes beyond products. It’s a holistic experience, born out of the Korean concept of ‘son-nim’ – the idea is that every customer is treated as an honoured guest. That starts the moment they step into one of the brand’s Genesis Studios.

The goal is a one-to-one service. Customers are assigned a personal assistant, who will walk them through the model range, arrange a test drive and help them configure a company car that fits their needs. And it doesn’t stop there – that same assistant will arrange delivery including a detailed hand-over, and co-ordinate servicing and maintenance work.
