Twisted makes debut at The Bridge X with a neverbeforeseen colourway

• British bespoke design house unveils two custom classic Land Rover Defender commissions.
• One vehicle is painted Hyperion Blue, a shade traditionally reserved for vintage Ferraris and Maseratis of the 1960s, emphasising its rarity and exclusivity.

• Visitors will see a scale model preview of the TRRC (Twisted’s interpretation of the Range Rover Classic) ahead of its US debut later in the year.

Twisted Automotive, the British bespoke design house renowned for re-engineering classic automotive icons, will attend The Bridge X for the first time. Marking this debut, Twisted will unveil two custom Land Rover Defender commissions.

The highlight is a bespoke T110 finished in Hyperion Blue—an iconic shade historically reserved for rare 1960s Ferraris and Maseratis. Applying such a delicate, emotive, and historic supercar hue to the boxy, unapologetic silhouette of a classic Defender represents a bold world-first for the brand, designed to excite and intrigue the US audience.

‘Taking a shade traditionally reserved for 1960s Italian supercars and draping it over a rugged, boxy British utility icon is unapologetically Twisted,’ said Phil Chapman, Twisted’s Head of Brand. ‘Our philosophy has always been about rebellion. We take something raw, strip away its factory flaws and elevate it to an anti-ordinary standard. Bringing our obsession to the historic grounds of Bridgehampton for the very first time, and meeting US collectors face-to-face is a major milestone for our brand.’

Alongside the Hyperion Blue T110 will sit a Stirling Moss Blue T110 commission destined for a US customer. Master technicians from the UK build team will be at the concours to answer detailed questions about what makes a Twisted so special.

Each commission on display represents 2,500 hours of meticulous, hand-crafted engineering. Stripped down to bare metal and rebuilt from the chassis up, every nut, bolt, and panel has been scrutinised and aligned to uncompromising, factory-surpassing tolerances. Both models boast LT1 V8 powertrains.

In addition to the Defender builds, visitors to the Twisted display will see a detailed scale model of the company’s next major US debut: the TRRC (Twisted’s interpretation of the Range Rover Classic). This sneak peek aims to build anticipation ahead of its US debut later in the year.

The Bridge X takes place in Bridgehampton, New York, from September 18 to September 20 2026.
