As part of Monterey Car Week, Automobili Lamborghini yesterday unveiled the Revuelto SV1, the fifth model to wear the iconic Super Veloce (SV) name, at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. Representing the latest evolution of Lamborghini’s legendary V12 super sports car, the Revuelto SV embodies the purest expression of the brand’s performance philosophy.
The Super Veloce designation, meaning ‘Super Fast,’ was first introduced in 1971 on the Miura SV, establishing a legacy that has defined one of Lamborghini’s most performance-focused V12 models for more than five decades. Following the Miura SV was the Diablo SV (1995), Murciélago LP 670-4 Super Veloce (2009), and the Aventador SV (2015). The Revuelto SV becomes the latest chapter in one of Lamborghini’s most celebrated lineages.
Delivering a combined output of 1,065 CV (1,050 horsepower), the Revuelto SV is the most powerful and fastest-accelerating production Lamborghini ever built in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with three electric motors and a new high-performance battery, it accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 2.4 seconds with a top speed exceeding 214 mph (345 km/h). With 50 CV (49 horsepower) more than the Revuelto and optimized aerodynamics that deliver greater downforce, more precise handling and enhanced lap-time performance during track driving, the Revuelto SV advances Lamborghini’s high-performance strategy while delivering on precision, responsiveness, and driver engagement.
The V12 heritage was also celebrated through a dedicated Diablo class at The Quail, featuring 30 Diablo models spanning 1994 to 2001, including several Diablo SV examples that represent milestones in the evolution of the Super Veloce name. The display underscored Lamborghini’s V12 legacy while highlighting how the Revuelto SV carries the Super Veloce tradition into a new era of performance.
Throughout the weekend, Lamborghini will welcome clients, collectors, and VIP guests to the exclusive Lamborghini Lounge Monterey, located alongside the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links. There, guests will experience the company’s latest lineup, including the Revuelto SV, Temerario, and Urus SE Performante. On Sunday, August 16, Lamborghini will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the legendary Miura with more then 40 examples displayed on the 3rd fairway at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, marking the largest gathering of Miuras ever assembled. The display will be anchored as well by the newly unveiled Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, a special edition limited to 99 examples that pays tribute to the world’s first supercar.
