Dacia is bringing a taste of the outdoors to London this summer with Dacia’s City Escape, a two-day experience designed to help people step away from the hustle and bustle of life, while also marking the first UK public appearance of the new Dacia Striker.
Set in London’s Bernie Spain Gardens between 23 to 24 July 2026, in a space designed to help visitors slow down, switch off and enjoy a different pace of life, Dacia’s City Escape blends relaxed moments with hands-on activity, all inspired by simple outdoor adventures.
Visitors can unwind with a coffee in one of two bell tents, explore virtual mountain landscapes through VR headsets, or get involved in map reading sessions and treasure hunts designed for younger explorers.
Only just fully revealed this month, Dacia Striker, a new electrified crossover that combines the dynamism of an estate, the practicality of a hatchback and the ground clearance of an SUV, will make its UK public debut.
A large central yurt will play host to Dacia’s Everyday Adventure Series on both 23 and 24 June, with ten sessions that are available to book via www.dacia.co.uk/cityescape.
Sessions include ‘Reasons to Leave Your Phone at Home’ with broadcaster, adventurer and explorer Monty Halls, ‘My Life in Adventure’ with record-breaking polar explorer, Preet Chandi, ‘How to Break Records’ with endurance cyclist, Sarah Ruggins, an ‘Ask Me Anything’ with Jim Moir and ‘The Striker Session’ with singer-songwriter and outdoor enthusiast, Lucy Spraggan.
For those looking for something more competitive, the Sandrider remote racing track brings a faster-paced challenge. Visitors can set their best time on the course, with live scores displayed throughout the day. The fastest adult and fastest child will each win a prize.
Dacia’s City Escape is built around a simple idea: making it easier for people to take a break, try something new and enjoy a moment of adventure, even in the middle of the city.
It’s an opportunity for the public to see, feel and experience the Dacia range up close.
