Nissan wins seven categories in 2026 Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan swept all seven categories in which it was nominated in the 2026 Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards™. The awards include recognition for Nissan as the No. 1 Best Brand Dealership Experience, Best Car Brand, Best Truck Brand and Best SUV Brand.

In addition, three Nissan vehicles won their respective categories: Nissan Sentra earned No. 1 Best New Car, the Nissan Frontier was named No. 1 Best New Truck and the Nissan Rogue was named No. 1 Best New SUV. The Nissan Altima was also named No. 2 in the Best New Car category.

The Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards allow readers to recognize the brands and products they trust the most by voting across multiple categories. Nominees for each category are selected by Newsweek’s editorial team, with input from industry experts and contributors.

The 2027 Nissan Frontier is the right-sized pickup with distinct design, impressive capability and thoughtful convenience features, proudly assembled in the U.S. at Nissan’s Canton, Mississippi plant. The plant recently celebrated assembling the 1 millionth Frontier truck in Canton; Nissan has assembled 2 million Frontiers in the U.S. since production of the truck began at Nissan’s Smyrna, Tennessee plant in 1998. A limited-run 250th Anniversary Edition of the Frontier pickup truck celebrates the nation’s 250th anniversary. It features a graphic that reads ‘Frontier’ on the tailgate with a monochromatic Stars and Stripes design, and is limited to just 2,500 units assembled through the month of July.
