Renault Master ETech electric helps Cancer Research UK raise funds and lower its local carbon footpr

Cancer Research UK has strengthened its retail logistics fleet with the Renault Master E-Tech electric, helping the charity keep donated stock moving between its Regional Distribution Centre in Fleet and its shop network while reducing local tailpipe emissions.
The new vans will be driven by Cancer Research UK’s full-time drivers and are expected to cover up to 800 miles per week. Each van has been equipped with racking, LED lighting and 360-degree parking sensors to help make light work of busy daily deliveries, while Cancer Research UK’s distinctive livery ensures they are instantly recognisable on the road.
The Renault Master E-Tech electric LM35 (LWB Medium Roof) panel van was selected following a comprehensive evaluation process, with Cancer Research UK assessing whole-life costs, electric range, payload and driver feedback. The charity already operates an all-Renault LCV fleet comprising a mix of panel vans, Luton low-floor vehicles, and a Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric.

The multi-award-winning Renault Master continues to set the benchmark in the large van segment, combining enhanced payload capability with load spaces ranging from 11 to 20 cubic metres and a user-focused design created around everyday operator convenience.
The Master E-Tech electric’s 105kW/300Nm electric motor is paired with an 87kWh battery, delivering a WLTP range of up to 285 miles. DC fast charging can add up to 142 miles of range in just 30 minutes, giving operators the flexibility to charge overnight or make rapid top-ups during the working day.
