Alfa Romeo has announced a series of updates for its Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio ranges, including revised interiors, equipment and styling options.

The Junior gets the most significant changes, with a redesigned interior and expanded choice of wheels, while the Tonale range has been updated with a wider selection of customisation options. Changes to the Giulia and Stelvio are also more modest, including updated driver monitoring tech and new exterior design tweaks.

The range update comes as Alfa Romeo looks to maintain buyer interest following a strong start to 2026, with the Junior becoming its best-selling model globally, although the latest Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) figures show new Alfa Romeo registrations in the UK up by less than 1% nine months in to 2026.

The changes also provide a modest refresh for the Giulia and Stelvio, which have been on sale in their current iteration for nine years now. Alfa Romeo has extended both models through 2027 while it assesses future replacements.

Junior gets redesigned interior

The Junior range – including both the battery-powered Elettrica and Ibrida hybrid – get redesigned door panels, new seat materials and revised trim for the dashboard and centre console.

Entry-level ‘Junior’ and ‘Sprint’ trim grades get what Alfa calls its new ‘Icona’ interior, combining black fabric seats with grey stitching and black dashboard and door trim. The ‘Sprint’ package also now includes sat-nav, adaptive cruise control, wireless smartphone charging, a reversing camera, blind spot monitoring and parking sensors.

‘Ti’ and ‘Veloce’ models instead get a sportier ‘Carbon’ interior with black seats, red detailing and different dashboard and door materials. Alcantara upholstery remains available as an option, while the recently announced Luna Rossa special edition gets its own seats and interior graphics.

Two new alloy wheel designs have also been added: a 19-inch four-hole design with wider 225/45 tyres, and a grey 18-inch three-hole design.

More customisation for the Tonale

The Tonale gets a wider range of personalisation options, with ten exterior colours, seven alloy wheel design and size combinations from 17- to 20-inches and five interior finishes now offered across the range. The recently announced ‘Luna Rossa’ also joins the line-up as a new special edition.

The ‘Sprint’ comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and gloss black exterior trim. The ‘Ti’ focuses more heavily on comfort, with leather upholstery, heated and ventilated electrically adjustable front seats and a heated steering wheel.

‘Veloce’ sits at the sportier end of the range, adding 19-inch wheels, Matrix LED headlights, Brembo brakes and electronically controlled suspension.

Minor changes for Giulia and Stelvio

Both now get a driver-monitoring camera integrated into the A-pillar, alongside updated software to meet newer regulations. New black-and-white Alfa Romeo badges replace the previous exterior emblems, while a ‘Anodized Blue’ exterior colour has been added to the options list.

Sportier Stelvio Quadrifoglio models now come with 21-inch alloy wheels as standard, replacing the previous 20-inch wheels. Quadrifoglio buyers also receive a voucher for a one-day driving course at the Alfa Romeo Driving Academy.

Alfa Romeo has yet to confirm UK pricing or an on-sale date for the updated model ranges. Those details are sure to follow in the coming weeks.
