Kia has confirmed UK pricing for its new EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT, with the three performance-focused electric models now available to order.

They join the larger EV6 GT and EV9 GT in Kia’s growing range of performance-focused electric cars. We’ve covered the three new GT models previously, but this is the first time Kia has confirmed UK prices and final specifications.

EV3 and EV4 GT priced below £50k

The EV3 GT and EV4 GT share much of their mechanical hardware. Both use an 82kWh battery and dual-motor four-wheel-drive powertrain producing 288hp.

The EV4 GT completes the 0-62mph sprint in 5.6 seconds and offers up to 313 miles of battery range, while the slightly heavier EV3 GT takes 5.7 seconds but has a longer official range of 334 miles.

Both support DC charging at up to 128kW, with a 10% to 80% charge taking a claimed 31 minutes using a sufficiently powerful charger.

The EV3 GT costs under £49k, while the EV4 GT is £650 more with a price tag that exceeds £49k. Both come in a single specification, with paint colour effectively the only option.

EV5 GT tops the new trio

The larger EV5 GT costs around £54k and also uses the same 82kWh battery, but gets a more powerful dual-motor system producing 301hp. On a single charge, Kia says the model can muster up to 295 miles of travel.

Its extra size and weight mean it’s actually the slowest of the three, accelerating from 0-62mph in 6.2 seconds. As with the smaller GTs, the EV5 GT is sold in one highly equipped specification with only exterior paint left for buyers to choose.

The GT models receive more substantial changes than simply adding another electric motor. All three have electronically controlled suspension, electronic torque vectoring, launch control and dedicated GT driving modes. They also get 20-inch alloy wheels, sports seats and distinctive exterior and interior detailing with bright green accents.

Kia’s ‘Virtual Gear Shift’ system is standard across the trio. It uses steering-wheel paddles to simulate a six-speed gearbox, altering acceleration, regenerative braking and artificial engine sounds to mimic gear changes in a combustion-powered performance car. Drivers can switch the system off if they prefer a more conventional electric-car driving experience.

Equipment across the three models includes heated and ventilated front seats, heated outer rear seats, a head-up display, Harman Kardon sound system, wireless smartphone connectivity and charging, 360-degree cameras and an extensive package of driver assistance technology.

Vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality is also standard, allowing electrical appliances and other devices to be powered from the car’s battery.

The Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT are now available to order, as of 1st October. Customer deliveries will begin later in 2026.
