• In addition, Kia to demonstrate real-world use cases and conversion flexibility of the PV5 at IAA in Hannover
Expanding Kia’s PBV lineup into the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment, the PV7 delivers increased space and capability beyond the PV5, meeting the evolving needs of business customers across a broader range of commercial and lifestyle use cases.

Building on Kia’s extensive EV expertise, the PV7 is built on the dedicated E-GMP.S platform and follows the introduction of the PV5 as the brand’s second dedicated PBV model. As a key pillar of its PBV strategy, the PV7 and its future derivatives will further expand the PBV lineup and broaden Kia’s business mobility offering.
The Kia PV7 will make its global debut at IAA Transportation in Hannover, Germany, September 14, 2026. Recognised as the world’s leading commercial vehicle exhibition, the event will also see Kia showcase a range of PV5 derivatives, highlighting the scalability of the brand’s PBV strategy and its continued expansion across multiple customer applications.
PV5 real-world use cases and conversion flexibility
In addition to the global debut of the PV7, Kia will present the latest variants of the PV5, first launched in 2025. At IAA, Kia will showcase a wide range of flexible body types, including PV5 Cargo L2/H2, PV5 Cargo L1/H1, PV5 Chassis, PV5 Passenger 7-seat, PV5 WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) and PV5 Food Truck – demonstrating the platform’s adaptability across diverse business applications.
Designed from the ground up as an electric commercial vehicle, the PV5 line-up prioritises usability and efficiency in real operating conditions. Features such as a tight turning radius for urban environments, a low cargo loading height to reduce operator strain and modular body architecture to simplify repairs all contribute to reduced downtime and improved total cost of ownership.
