If you think of the Ford Taurus SHO, you’ll typically think of the ones from 30+ years ago that had V6 or V8 engines. You’ll especially remember the very first Taurus SHO, which became beloved by enthusiasts and car-loving celebrities alike. The fourth-generation Taurus SHO (produced from 2010–2019) is the final iteration of that car ever made, and it borrowed parts of Ford’s most up-to-date powertrains from that time. It uses the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6, rated at 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. That power is sent to all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Yes, that means that this is the only Ford Taurus SHO that had all-wheel drive! All this power and all the traction that comes from the all-wheel drive powertrain mean that it can sprint from 0-60 mph in just 5.2 seconds, and go on to a limited top speed of 133 mph.
