Every movement begins with a full assessment. Because these components were produced decades ago, each part is inspected for dimensional integrity, machining quality and functional compatibility before assembly begins. Once approved, the components move into the finishing process, where Singer applies its own touch. The result is a historic calibre treated with the care, refinement and visual dignity it deserves.
Heritage V72 also introduces a defining architectural gesture. While all Singer watches are designed to make the movement visible, this collection goes further.
Indeed, a newly developed glass-box caseback reveals not only the traditional rear view of the calibre, but also details that were never intended to be seen. It turns the movement into an exposed mechanical landscape, allowing collectors to appreciate the depth, structure and complexity of the Valjoux 72 from a new perspective.

Each unassembled NOS (new old stock) Valjoux 72 undergoes a meticulous, multi-stage process that elevates it beyond its original factory specifications:

GUIDED BY DESIGN
Every design decision has been made to honour the Valjoux 72 without allowing the watch to become nostalgic or decorative. The case, dial, colour, strap and finishing language have been developed as a complete composition.
The watch is housed in Singer’s 38.8 mm case – with a sunray satin finish and mirror-polished chamfers – a compact and timeless expression of the brand’s design codes. Quiet in proportion, precise in execution and unmistakably Singer in its details, the case gives the restored movement the frame it deserves: elegant, modern and restrained, but never anonymous.
The Heritage V72 carries several details that are immediately recognisable within Singer Reimagined’s design language.
The golden-toothed flange gives the dial a sense of energy and technical rhythm. It brings a subtle performance note to the composition, connecting the watch to Singer’s wider world of chronographs, machines and mechanical tension.
The faceted hour markers give structure and clarity. Their geometry catches the light from different angles, adding sharpness to the softness of the matte dial surfaces.
Touches of gold on the dial bring warmth and continuity, echoing the brand’s classic visual codes while reinforcing the preciousness of the restored movement inside. SR620-1 18ct GOLD
The SR620-1 is the bolder, more dramatic expression of Heritage V72.
Its velvety matte intense black dial creates maximum contrast against the warmth of the 18-carat yellow solid gold (1N) case. The result is immediate, elegant and quietly powerful. The black surface gives depth and restraint, while the gold case brings light, warmth and a sense of preciousness without excess.
At the centre of this composition the three subdials stand out thanks to the champagne azurage, adding a refined circular texture that catches the light with subtle movement. It does not shout. It glows. It creates a dialogue between darkness and radiance, between the sobriety of black and the richness of gold.
The 18-carat yellow solid gold (1N) pin buckle completes the composition, extending the warmth of the case into the strap architecture.
SR621 STAINLESS STEEL
The SR621-6 offers a more restrained and technical interpretation.
Its velvety matte stone-gray dial brings softness, nuance and modernity to the Heritage V72 language. Paired with the stainless steel case, the watch feels precise, balanced and quietly contemporary. It is less about contrast and more about tonal harmony.
The oyster azurage gives the dial a refined depth, adding texture without disturbing the calmness of the composition. It creates a subtle play of light across the surface, revealing itself gradually rather than immediately.

The stainless steel pin buckle reinforces the clarity of the reference, keeping the design language pure, purposeful and aligned with the case.

PRODUCT FACT SHEET
Design and case options: The case is measuring 38.8mm in diameter with a thickness of 13.25mm. It features a sunray satin finish with mirror-polished chamfers, balancing vintage inspiration with modern refinement. A glassbox sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating enhances dial visibility , while the second glassbox also coated, reveals the fully restored movement. The top pusher is dedicated to the chronograph start/stop, while the lower pusher resets the chronograph function. A manual-winding crown provides time-setting and winding capabilities.
SR620-1 is crafted from 18-carat yellow solid gold (1N) and SR621 is crafted from stainless steel.
Dial options: The Heritage V72 dial is designed with restraint because the watch already carries a powerful story. Its purpose is not to compete with the Valjoux 72, but to prepare the eye for it.
The dial features Singer Reimagined’s signature toothed golden flange, applied faceted hour markers, and an applied Singer logo.
The Heritage Collection is available in two dial variations: the velvety matte stone-gray dial brings softness and features oyster azurage subcounters and mirror-polished appliques.
The velvety matte intense black dial creates maximum contrast offering a classic black aesthetic with champagne azurage counters a and refined contrasting details that exudes timeless sophistication.
Hands and Legibility: The hour, minute hands are rhodium-plated and filled with Orange Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility in low-light conditions. The baton-style subdial hands are also rhodium-plated. The central seconds hand is coated with the Singer Orange paint and features the signature golden cabochon.
Strap and Buckle: Crafted from black-grained natural leather or grey textile, The strap measures 20mm at the lugs and tapers to 16mm at the buckle.
Each reference is completed with a buckle chosen to match its case material and design character. The SR620-1 is paired with a 18-carat yellow solid gold (1N) pin buckle, extending the preciousness of the gold case.
The SR621 is paired with a stainless steel pin buckle. Both feature a satin finish with polished chamfers and an engraved Singer logo.
Pricing and Availability: The official price is CHF.-23’000, excluding VAT and local taxes for the stainless steel model and CHF.-45’000, excluding VAT and local taxes for the gold reference.
