Dodge is celebrating production of the 2026 Dodge Durango R/T 392 Launch Edition, which is rolling off the line at Detroit Assembly Complex – Jefferson (DAC-J).

The 2026 Dodge Durango R/T 392 Launch Edition marks the first time the legendary 392-cubic-inch HEMI V-8 engine is standard on the Durango R/T. Delivering 475 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, the three-row SUV brings SRT levels of performance to the Durango R/T, accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds while maintaining the utility and versatility that have defined the Durango nameplate for decades.

The Dodge Durango lineup continues to stand alone as the only three-row SUV that unapologetically blends legendary HEMI V-8 power across the full lineup, which in addition to the Durango R/T 392 includes the Durango GT HEMI and the 710-horsepower Durango SRT Hellcat and Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, which has 13 million possible customization combinations.
In Q2 2026, Durango achieved its highest Q2 retail sales volume since 2021 and its best first-half total sales since 2006. In 2025, Durango posted its best total sales year since 2005, up 37% year over year.
Durango production has been strong at DAC-J with more than 1 million assembled since production of the vehicle moved there in 2010. Combined with production at the former Newark Assembly Plant, more than 2.5 million Durango vehicles have been built since the nameplate first launched nearly 30 years ago.
The DAC-J facility currently builds the entire Durango lineup alongside the Jeep® Grand Cherokee, making it one of only three North American assembly plants to produce multiple vehicle models on the same assembly line.
