Dacia’s Bucket List Fund: the search for the UK’s greatest adventures is complete

• The search is now complete, with a panel awarding the funding and a Dacia vehicle to six successful applicants, bringing their dream adventure to life

Following its launch, and after receiving hundreds of applications from across the UK, the adventures that Dacia’s Bucket List Fund will support have been selected.

ADVENTURE LOOKS DIFFERENT TO EVERYONE
The UK-wide initiative invited the general public to think of and submit a UK or European outdoor experience that they’ve always dreamed of participating in but had yet to make a reality. Dacia pledged to support a hand-picked selection of successful applicants with funding and a vehicle to help turn those ambitions into unforgettable experiences.

The response painted a fascinating picture of modern Britain, with applications ranging from epic country-hopping road trips and experiences at once-in-a-lifetime destinations to deeply personal journeys inspired by family, friendship and second chances.

The selected adventures showcase exactly what Dacia’s Bucket List Fund set out to celebrate: the idea that adventure looks different to everyone.

Hiking enthusiast Monika will follow the road to the Norwegian fjords to enjoy the unique landscapes and make cherished memories with her son. After years of plotting with his best friend, Adam will follow his ultimate paragliding itinerary across Italy and Switzerland.

Stephen and his son will reconnect on a drive from Cornwall to Scotland, stopping at a total of 220 nature reserves to spot some of the UK’s rarest birds.

In total, six experiences will receive funding through the initiative, having been selected by an expert judging panel. Together, they demonstrate that there is no single definition of a bucket list adventure in modern Britain, only the desire to make long-held ambitions a reality.

Competition judge, Gwilym Pugh, said: ‘Bucket list adventures used to only be able aspirational feats in amazing places. Dacia’s Bucket List Fund proves that, in 2026, they’ve become more about making time for the people we love and experiences that’ll stay with us forever. So many applications used the phrase ‘…always dreams of one day doing’. Dacia’s Bucket List Fund has turned that ‘one day’ into today.’

Over the coming months, each successful applicant will document their journey, sharing the moments, landscapes, and emotions that make their adventure worth finally experiencing.

From mountain roads and dramatic coastlines to unforgettable natural wonders and meaningful personal milestones, Dacia’s Bucket List Fund is proof that the best adventures begin when you simply say ‘yes’.
