Elvis Presley and Harley-Davidson belong together almost too perfectly. Both are loud, proudly American, covered in attitude, and capable of making leather look even better. Now, one incredibly rare motorcycle combining those two cultural giants is preparing to cross the auction block.

This 2007 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe Elvis Presley 30th Anniversary Signature Edition is No. 15 of only 30 produced. It was created as a modern tribute to the black 1957 Harley-Davidson FLH Hydra-Glide once owned by Elvis himself, complete with period-inspired bodywork, whitewall tires, wire wheels, and enough chrome to blind you. And, this one-owner example has traveled only 19 miles since new.

This Harley Brings Elvis’ 1957 Hydra-Glide Back To Life

The tribute motorcycle was created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Presley’s death and was officially authorized by his estate. The project was conceived by the late Bruce Rossmeyer, the well-known dealer behind multiple Harley-Davidson locations, including Daytona Harley-Davidson. Rather than building a simple sticker package and calling it a day, the team recreated the look of Elvis’ classic 1957 Hydra-Glide using a modern Softail chassis and drivetrain. The result is a Harley from rock and roll’s golden age without demanding that its next owner understand 1950s motorcycle maintenance.

The black paint is paired with deeply valanced fenders, whitewall tires, wire-spoke wheels, a solo saddle, vintage-style saddlebags, a tall windshield, and mountains of polished metal. Elvis’ signature appears on the fuel tank above a Harley-Davidson emblem, while an inscription identifies this motorcycle as No. 15 of 30.

Subtle it is not, but neither was the man who performed in rhinestone jumpsuits.

A 96-Cubic-Inch V-Twin Gives It Modern Muscle

Under all that vintage-inspired bodywork sits Harley-Davidson’s 96-cubic-inch air-cooled Twin Cam V-twin. It uses Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection and sends power through a six-speed Cruise Drive manual transmission and belt final drive. That makes this tribute considerably easier to live with than the original motorcycle that inspired it. The styling screams 1957, but the mechanical package comes from 2007, meaning the rider gets fuel injection, an extra transmission ratio, and far fewer opportunities to become stranded while dressed like the King.

Of course, this particular motorcycle has barely had the chance to use any of that hardware. Its odometer shows only 19 miles, which works out to roughly one mile for every year it has existed. The owner reportedly stored it covered inside a climate-controlled garage, explaining why the black paint, bright chrome, leatherwork, and whitewall tires still present so beautifully. It also runs and comes with its keys, so it remains a functioning motorcycle rather than a very elaborate piece of Elvis furniture.

One Of Only 30 Is Heading To Auction

This exceptional Softail Deluxe will cross the block at the Mecum Nashville 2026 auction on Tuesday, September 22. Its combination of extreme rarity, official Elvis Presley authorization, single ownership, and astonishingly low mileage should make it attractive to both Harley collectors and serious Elvis fans.

Estimating its value is difficult because only 30 were made, and examples do not exactly flood the market. Condition will certainly help this one, but its appeal extends far beyond mileage. It connects one of America’s most recognizable motorcycle brands with one of the most important entertainers the country has ever produced.

The next owner will face one painful decision… preserve those 19 miles, or fire up the Twin Cam and let the King’s Harley tribute finally stretch its legs. With a motorcycle this beautiful, leaving it parked forever almost feels cruel. Elvis may have left the building, but this incredible Harley is still waiting for an encore.
